Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) was established in 1975 and is the board of school education in Mizoram State of India. The MBSE is a state run government body responsible for determining the academic, policy-related and administrative direction of the state's higher secondary educational system.
Structurally the Mizoram Board is divided into three main branches – General, Academic and Examination. General is responsible for matters relating to administration, establishment, properties, etc. Academic is responsible for the matters related to academic purposes like devising of courses and prescribing syllabus.
